It’s rare that a simple poster can help define an event. But that’s exactly the case for Footstock, the country’s largest National Endurance Barefoot Water Ski Championship. The annual Championship, dubbed by Water Ski Magazine as one of the craziest water ski tournaments in America, is as well-known for its irreverent posters as it is the world-class competition on the water. Each year barefooters around the country clamor for the BVK-created works of art that skiers call “collector’s items. The posters are so popular that even Water Ski Magazine features them annually.
